Summer has not ended yet. You still have a lot of time to enjoy the warm weather on the warm island. Bali during this month offers so many things to see and enjoy from traditional celebrations in Tenganan Village to Wealth Dynamic Academy with Dr. Toppher Morrison. And oh, Paramore will rock Bali with their special concert on the day when Indonesian people celebrate the Independence Day. Summer has not ended yet.

August 15th, 24th, 25th Usaba Kapitu & Kolu in Tenganan Pagringsingan

Tenganan is one of the ancient Balinese villages which still exists. In the meantime, Ngusaba is the ceremony aiming to remind all people to unite and synergies all elements to create harmony. “Muhu-Muhu” the second event of Usaba Kepitu, starts with a ritual in front of every house-entrance, ealy in the morning followed by a ceremony and meeting at Bale Agung up to the afternoon. The series of rituals ends with exorcising underword spirit away from the village-area done by women, bachelor and children by striking the village’s wooden – bell, throwing stones etc. lasting till late and night.

August 17th Independence day

One day before Indonesia’s Independence Day, people decorate their home and office with red-white flags. There are many celebrations that you can find such as holding climbing nut to grab various prizes on the top, catch-the-eels competition, and many others. On this national holiday, young and old, men and women will join the crowd. Well of course you may join too, to get the prize!

August 17th Paramore Live Concert

Paramore, an alternative rock band from U.S.A will rock Bali. Garuda Wisnu Kencana is the chosen place to be the venue of their concert. Paramore’s fans in Indonesia have been waiting for this concert and finally Paramore will hold two concerts: in Denpasar and in Jakarta (August 19th). Are you a fan of Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor? Your summer holiday in Bali will be the greatest one.

August 25th – 28th Wealth Dynamic Academy
