Kusuma Sari Villa & Spa
Nestled on a hillside rice paddy and bounded by the river Bembeng, the Villa Kusuma Sari was recently completed to international standards outside a quiet historic Hindu town. Lying midway between the Sanur beaches and historic Ubud it offers its guests equal access to both Balis.
Designed as a modern version of the traditional Balinese cluster compound, the villa has separate balés (pavilions) for eating, lounging, receiving guests, housing them – and a spa with steam bath and separate massage rooms for women and men.
Its local staff are uniquely capable of offering you an inside view of the ceremonies that dominate island life – from New Year festivities (almost every six months) to spectacular cremations – or the bliss of the island paradise – from spa and massage to poolside relaxation.
