If you want to experience some of the Best Diving in Bali, then head over to North Bali, it’s a bit of a trek to get to from Denpasar (3 hours by minibus over the mountains but it’s well worth it) the mini bus the hotel arranges is an 8 seater so there’s plenty of room to lie down doze off or sit back and enjoy the spetacular views.
We stayed at the Adi Assri Cottages, at the begning of April 2009, the rooms are superb, very spacious and all appear to have a lovely outside shower and toilet, the site is only a year old so all is very new, the management, staff and service is outstanding, book a Super Deluxe Double room if you can (these have a mini bar – i think).
If you ask the hotel will arrange airport transfers(USD$65 each way) the driver meets you at the exit of the airport, holds a sign up with your name.
Diving is with Sea Rovers Divers a very professional safe dive shop, the owner Paul is English and runs a very tight ship, the dive gear is all new scubapro very well maintained, and the dive leader experienced and safe (6 divers per boat) all very safe, and the diving is superb.. check out the captains blog http://searoversbali.blogspot.com/
