Bali Garden Hotel & Resort Support the Bali Surf Lifesaving Club
Bali Garden Hotel & Resort adds international lifesaving equipment on Kuta Beach. A long-time supporter of the Bali Surf Lifesaving Club, Bali Garden Hotel & Resort recently acquired a surf rescue board and tube to increase safety along Kuta Beach. Bali Garden Hotel beachfront staff, trained in life saving skills, joined a rescue competition to mark the recent equipment handover.
“The rescue equipment is the latest international standards addition to the resort’s services,” said hotel General Manager Adrian Forsyth. The equipment was acquired with assistance and in conjunction with the Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club of Perth, and the Surf Lifesaving Association of Western Australia.
Surf Lifesaving Western Australia Director Jean Burling and her team of international lifesavers assisted and coordinated local teams for annual training to make Kuta Beach a safer place to swim. “With more domestic and European tourists visiting Bali, and Australian families expected over the Christmas and school holidays, it is important to make the beach as safe as possible,” Mr. Forsyth emphasized.
