Kartini & Earth Day
Dear Friends,
The impact of bomb tragedy in Kuta and number of the nature tragedy in Indonesia has been felt by tourist industry. The slow down of tourism is affecting other economies, which, in Bali specifically, are mainly related with tourism. Almost every segment and layers of Bali’s society,including the goverment and big business,is making effort to “revive” the island’s economy through varieties of mean.
We realized that it is important for the people who live in Bali to get their life back to normal again, the reason for us to organize a Charity dinner,on program Hari Ibu Kartini ( Indonesian women hero ) for education On 21 April and The Earth Day on 22 April 2006. This is away for us to gather all layers of community to interact with each other.and to give people information about Environmental Education.
For any income,donation and contribution from community and friends, will be used to finance it to produce the Bulletin “My school green ” and Guiding books Nature tragedy. This will be spreading out to all the school and community in Bali.
We hope this Charity dinner, Knowledge,Information and Intertaiment would be the manifestation of people’s participation.It is our modest attempt to manifest Charity dinner in a real action.
The Charity dinner, Would be held at Desa Muda Village Jl.Basangkasa No.30 A - Seminyak - Kuta - Bali. On Friday, 21 April 2006 Time : 20.00 - 24.00 pm.
Program :
• Film / Slide show about Environmental Education,
• Spreading out the Information Guiding books of Nature Tragedy
• Launching Bulletin “My School is green”
• Dinner
• Intertaiment.
Dress code :
( Women ) Kebaya & Sarung
( Men ) White.
