To get the best view of these surrounding villages especially the Gumang village which has enchanting rice terrace view, it best to start a trekking from the neighboring village of Kastala then pass the Gumung village to the back alley of Tenganan. This trekking, as a matter of fact is walking among rows of rice fields that descend into the valley with Mount Agung looms majestically on the background.
Gumung village is actually not a village with a definite area, the land of this village is belonged to Tenganan village and most parts of this village are rice fields owned by Tenganan’s residents.
