The activities of the Arti Foundation, with its creative process based on the understanding of the essence of Balinese culture, to be reinterpreted and adapted in order to influence and strengthen the tradition of Bali, are very important steps in facing the changes which never cease.

The performance based on the story of Sri Tanjung, which addresses the concept of ‘penglukatan’ as an aspect of ‘mulat sarira’, has been created based on the above thoughts, and is in line with the present program of the city of Denpasar, which has been initiated with the prospect in becoming a creative city based on its extraordinary culture.

Local ingenuity should always become -the source of inspiration, to be presented with a new appearance, so that it can be competitive in the context of transition of tjhe times, and can give additional value in physical and psychological developments, without losing sight of the roots of our culture.

Hopefully, the dance-drama Sri Tanjung: The Scent of Innocence can become a reference for other activities, so that Denpasar as a creative city based on its extraordinary culture, can become a reality.
