Food Festival at Kuta Carnival 2009

The last two days of Kuta Carnival were marked with a culinary festival that catered more than 30,000 visitors. Dozens of noted restaurants and cafes located around the Kuta region, such as Queen Tandoor, Papas Cafe, Fukutaru Japanese Restaurant and Hard Rock Café participated in this festival as well as local farmers offering fresh vegetables, various kinds of fresh fruits and byproducts such as juices and cakes and local restaurateurs with their irresistible traditional Balinese dishes such as suckling pig and tipat cantok, not to mention traditional Balinese snack and drink. This food festival offered vast selections of foods that catered all visitors’ taste.

The food festival was also highlighted with Barong dance performance that entertained the visitors as soon as they set their foot into the festival venue. There was also live band performance that begun around 4 pm and lasted till late at night. Imagine yourself eating your favorite food while watching the stunningly beautiful Kuta’s sunset with a live band performance playing your favorite song, well I can’t hardly wait for the next Kuta Carnival’s Food Festival
