This exhibition presents twenty-six hand-picked photographs from 1890 – 1960 by anonymous, curious and amateur photographers, reflecting the obsession with nature, innocence and eroticism at the turn of the 20^th century. Maurizio Rosenberg Colorni began his collection of old photographs of Bali in 2003. He has collected hundreds of photographs from private and museum collections in Europe and in Bali. This exhibition is the first in a series as Maurizio Rosenberg Colorni’s collection continues to grow.

We invite you to gaze upon these representations of Balinese life from the past.
