Many Bali accommodations always publish cheaper rates in low season. And September is the month when you can get more by spending less. Bali keeps celebrating temple anniversaries and some traditional ceremonies just like Ngusaba in Tenganan village. September also is the month when you can enjoy some festive events.

September 3rd, Usaba Kolu

Full moon ceremony and the last day of Masaban Bongkot. This special day in Tenganan Pangringsingan Village is cheered by Salonding orchestra at 17.00

September 6th, Street Marching Competition

To commemorate the 105thPuputan Badung, the government invites marching units drawn from the Armed Forces, youth organizations, university students, public servant, high school students, and public sector employers. Puputan is a terminology for a suicidal fight to death or all-out war. Each marching units comprised of male and female group will compete and show their power in marching on the street from Tabanan to Badung. They will compete to win 375 million rupiahs in prizes.

September 24th, Tumpek Kandang/Tumpek Uye

All Tumpek is celebrated once in every 210 days including Tumpek Kandang. This day Balinese people express gratitude to all cattle because they have helped people in their life. On this Balinese Animal Day, people worship Sang Rare Angon, the god who has blessed people with cattle. People pray for good growth and product at every farm and animal husbandry.

Kuta Karnival

Many people are crave to join the crowd at Kuta Karnival, But there is no fixed date published officially from the committee board. It usually takes place on the end of September till the beginning on October.
