Eating in Amed can be a nice stroll to different warung and restaurants since each eatery as its own specialty, menu, price range, and ambience. There are many warungs and café for backpackers and some restaurants for a fine dining but some of them have additional values that make them worth every rupiah you spend.

For those who are on tight budget, Warung Kadek that is located right on the opposite of the Coral View Hotel can be a good choice, nice ambience, good food and good value for money. Warung Eka Purnama near Japanese shipwreck also offers good food and great ocean view with reasonable price, a good stopover after snorkeling activities on the shipwreck.  Another gem of budget eatery is Café Indah; located right on the beach with beach and ocean view and fresh sea food, Café Indah is worth a try. The entrance to this café Indah almost on the opposite of Warung Kadek, next to Coral View Hotel, a short walk from the parking spot is needed to reach this café.

For those who have a thing for music, Wawe Wewe Retaurant offers live music every night, the only restaurant with “nightlife” by Amed standard. If you want a complete menu with more choices of dishes then restaurants at Coral View and Hidden Paradise Hotel are definitely the places you should visit. A good choice for more upscale restaurant is Sail; this restaurant offers great choices of good food, stunning sunrise and ocean view as well as cozy atmosphere.
