Yeh Panes Hot Spring is located on Penatahan Village, Tabanan regency 34 km northeastward from Denpasar or 12 km west of Tabanan city center. This hot spring is nestled on the gorge of Yeh Hoo River on the slope of Mount Batukaru and surrounded by 2.1 hectares of terraced rice fields and lush gardens; a perfect place for a day’s loafing.

The history has it; Yeh Panes Hot Spring was transformed into public bath place by the Japanese at the time of Japanese occupation. They also enlarged the spring and created the pools. At present day, Yeh Panes Hot Spring is a three-hectare tourist resort with complete facilities range from neat and clean toilets, showers, and changing rooms to restaurants that serve international and Indonesian dishes.

Based on research performed by Health Laboratory, Indonesian Health Department the water of this hot spring is safe for taking a bath. It contains sulfur, potassium and sodium that are effective to relieve various skin problems. Hindu community in Bali believes that this hot spring has the efficacy to cure numerous health problems.

Yeh Panes Hot Spring is the only hot spring in Bali that is especially designed for spa. This Hot Spring has two resources of hot spring with temperature of 370 Celsius, the main resource is located inside a small temple. The warm water is channeled to bathing places that specially designed in traditional style, each bathing places is surrounded by bamboo walls and equipped with a device that can spring hot water bubble, providing a great natural massage for the body.

Yeh Panes Hot Spring also equipped with two tiered-pools. Upper pool is intended for adult and family guests. While, the lower that close to the river is specially used for children. Both pools utilize fresh water. This hot spring also has a public pool in the east side of parking lot in which you can take a bath for free.
