It is very easy to find a beautiful beach in this island. The nearest beach to the harbor is Toya Pakeh beach. In this beach, you are allowed to enjoy the beauty of sea floor through diving. On the middle of August there will be a place of turtle cultivation in this area. However, Toya Pakeh is not the most beautiful beach.

The most beautiful beach is situated at Banjar Penida, Sakti Village. It is approximately 4 km far from Toya Pakeh Harbor. You can reach this beach by motorbike or public transportation.

At a glance from parking area there is nothing special with this beach. But if you get closer to this beach the first word that may come out from you is Wow! It is possible because the beach is really awesome. The water is very sparkling blue and looks like crystal. In the middle of the sparkling blue water, there is a marine escarpment with a hole like a door on the left side. This beach is decorated by white sand and fenced in with firm marine escarpment on the right and left side. The form is like alphabet U. And in the middle side the sea protrudes into the land. Indeed, this beach is a bay.

This beach is very quiet since only few tourists know this beach. It is not like Kuta or Sanur that is very crowded. That is the reason why Scesha, a girl from Slovakia decided to come to this beach. “I prefer this beach to Kuta or Sanur because this beach is very quiet,” she explained. It is good for you to take a rest and enjoy the beautiful scene. On the other hand, this beach is not suitable for you who want to surf for the wave is not good enough for surfing. You can spend all the time at this beach with your family. You can lie down on the sand to enjoy the sun or if you feel so hot then you can take a rest on Bale (it looks like gazebo) that is built by the people of Banjar Penida. Not only that, you can ask the native to pick young coconuts to be drunk for you. You also can dive in this beach and if you are lucky you can see Sun fish or Mola-mola.

Despite of these beauties, there are several minus points of this beach. There is no hotel around this beach so the only way is you must stay at home stay at Toya Pakeh village In addition, in order to get this beach you have to pass rough road. There are so many holes on the road and the road itself is winding.

However, they do not diminish the beauty of this beach. It is a must visit this beach since this beach offers a cozy and quiet place. Because of its beauty, no wonder people call it with the name which as beautiful as the fact. People call it Crystal Bay.
