Pekenan Lais Meseluk for this month was held at Lumintang City Park in North Denpasar District, from October 2 until October 4, 2009; East Denpasar District will hold this event next month.
“Pekenen Lais Meseluk” is Balinese terminology for a very thriving traditional market; as a matter of fact this event is a bazaar with traditional Balinese spirit and style. Pekenan Lais Meseluk is held to provide a chance for local farmers, restaurateurs and handicraft makers to introduce their products to the customers and to revive the concept of creative economic activities which based on local culture.
