Medewi
Located in Jembrana Regency around 75 Km west of Denpasar, Medewi is a small quiet village on the southwestern coast of Bali. Medewi is a surfing spot, most visitors come and stay in this place for this reason alone. For those who not into surfing Medewi is an excellent choice for hideaway and submerged into the everyday life of small fishing village.
Medewi Beach is one of the least visited tourist destination in Bali, make it a great place for relaxing, it gives a glimpse of what Bali was like before the growth of mass tourism in the 1970s. Medewi is rocky with some large flat grey stone boulders interspersed with pebbles and black sand. Not the best beach for sunbathing or lounging but good for long quiet strolls while enjoying beautiful sunset over Indian Ocean.
