Every two years, special ritual happens on fourth full moon (Purnama Kapat, October 7, 2006); One day before full moon, Pilgrims from four villages (Bebandem, Ngis, Bugbug and Jasi) go up to Gumang Hill, where the temple lies on the top. It is about 400 hundred meters high from sea level and four kilometers to the east of Candi Dasa.

After all people gathering in the temple, in the afternoon start Perang Jempana. People carry Jempana, run after one to the other and circle the temple. Some men and women are in trance, they follow the Jempana in circle. Selunding and Gambang music are played out loud.

The unique of this event is people bring suckling pig. It is special day for those parents have baby. The suckling pig is carried by men and it is for offering. So later the baby can go to temple. They also believe if they do not do this offering, later the baby will be not healthy.
