Hard Rock Hotel Bali celebrated “Founders Day” on June 14, 2010, in recognition of the first Hard Rock Cafe opening 39-years ago in London, England. To celebrate its inception, Centerstage turned back the clock to its birth year – 1971, when two enterprising and music-loving Americans, Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett, opened the doors of the first Hard Rock Cafe.

This “Founder’s Day,” Hard Rock Hotel Bali celebrated its birthday in 70’s style. Centerstage featured music of the era, and staff stepped back in time wearing the memorable fashions of the 70’s. The 1970’s Retro Party starting at 8.30pm featured Jogadanz Band, Foxy Brown Show, Mini Me & Dr. Evil, Retro Go Go Dancer, Stilt Walkers, Boogie Woogie Dance Show and Lucky Draw prizes.

“Hard Rock started as a craving for some good American grub, a penchant for fun and a passion for rock n roll,” said Andrew Khoo, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Bali. “After 39 years, Hard Rock remains extraordinarily faithful to its original intentions, and ‘Founder’s Day’ gives us the chance to formally celebrate Peter and Isaac’s vision of becoming a global phenomenon.”

‘Centerstage’, The Koolest live rock venue in Bali and awarded Hello Bali as Best Live Venue 2006 and The Beat Magazine as Best Live Venue 2010. Centerstage Rocks On from 10.00am – 1.00am, with nightly live Band performance from 8.30pm12 midnight.
