As the year-end approaches, both Wakatobi Dive Resort and the Pelagian wish to thank all those that have visited us in 2005. On several fronts, 2005 will be remembered as one of our best years ever. We’ve been honored with environmental initiative awards by both PADI and Scuba Diving magazine. We were also nominated for two World Travel Awards for world’s best dive operator and Indonesia’s leading resort. In addition, the Pelagian liveaboard is now fully integrated into the Wakatobi family and already starting to get rave reviews. And finally, we have had several returning guests comment that the reefs and marine life around Wakatobi are as healthy and robust as they have ever been a testament to the years of marine conservation work we’ve pioneered at Wakatobi.With 2006 right around the corner, we can’t wait to see what the new season will bring (for a hint, keep reading).
