Bali, 6th January 2006 – THE BALÉ, a Sanctuary Resort and member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, was rated number one and presented a First Class Gold Certificate during the Hotel Security & Safety Rating presentation by the Indonesian National Police and Bali Regional Police on Thursday, 5th January 2006. This certificate was presented by the Chief of the Badung Regency, Anak Agung Gede Agung and the Director of Bali Tourism Police, POLDA Bali, Kombes Pol. I Gusti Ketut Budiartha SH to Mark Swinton, General Manager of The Balé. The Safety and Security Standardization Team consisting of four government ministries conducted thorough inspections and investigation within each resort focusing on personnel, equipment, facilities and training.
