This year is the first year, for Youth Association (STT) which belongs to traditional village of Jimbaran to join Ogoh-ogoh competition and Baleganjur orchestra on a day before Nyepi Day.  The committee is believe that this parade will attract hundreds people to see and surely the road will have no space for vehicles anymore.

For this reason, village officials will close the main roads in Jimbaran, Jalan Uluwatu 1, on March 4th and vehicles coming from the direction of Kedonganan will be diverted to Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai in Jimbaran. For those who want to leave Jimbaran and Intercontinental will be sent on to a southerly route toward Jalan Uluwatu II towards the Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai. Further, for vehicles owned by people living Jimbaran will have limited access to go to their home or business venue. In order to avoid miscommunication and chaos, official promised to install the signage.

The head of Jimbaran village, Made Budiasa, said that the parade and competition will be centered on this road starting from 10.00 am until the middle of the night. Each of 12 Youth Association which will compete on that day has been funded USD 1100 by the village of Jimbaran to help Ogoh-ogoh project. All people bet that this competition will be tight as each group will show off their masterpiece. The same competition will also be held in several locations in Bali such as in Alun Alun City Park and Kesiman village.

So on a day before Silent Day, if you get stuck on any roads, park your vehicle, watch the parade, and join the crowd!
