Great place and great food—but— I hope the owner gets to hear what I have to say.My stay hear in Bali is 1 month and there is alot of places that I could choose to stay.I decided to stay at the New Kuta Condotel Best Western because of the friendly environment, the staff is excellent and everyone makes me fill at home, very comforting, and is probably the reason why it is almost at full occupancy all the time, very understandable. So I decided to stay the rest of the time at the New Kuta Condotel. Now getting to the point, the owner of the New Kuta Condotel also ownes the restaurant/bar/night club–Klapa–From the start I was wandering why there wasn’t that much people staying for dinner or the night club but didn’t think much of it.Now I know– the management is terrible and rude and only wants to get money out of you, which I do understand that everyone is in the business to make money but (come–on)I was told by the best western that if I resided at the new Kuta condotel that there would be no cover charge and that we would be able to use the facilities/pool.But that was not the case and they gave us a hard time but that it would be ok if we had a couple of drinks and stayed for dinner which cost us about 800,000 rupias–the management ended up charging us for using the pool side and added to the dinner bill,we unhappily paid but rest assured they lost my business and I’ve still got 2 weeks here–So let it be told that the owner needs to change his management if he wants his klapa to succeed like the New Kuta Condotel.
