Ferry Fees’ Increase

Starting from today Official ferry fees for sea transportation from Java to Bali are set to increase 9.29 %. Compare to the increase of fees in another crossing across Indonesia the increase of fee in Ketapang - Gilimanuk crossing is the lowest, due to its short distance, only 5 mil.This 9.29 % increase is far below the demand of sea transportation company (76 % increase).

To anticipate the problems which may occur in the implementation of this increase, a board of surveillance has been formed to supervise the technical implementation of the increase on the field.

This increase of fees hopefully can increase the service which is offered by the official ferry.
