Pinktober 2009, Hard Rock’s signature Breast Cancer Awareness program, embarks on its 1oth consecutive year of raising awareness and funds for breast cancer charities around the globe. As part of this Initiative, Hard Rock Hotel Bali will donate proceeds from the auction of a Kelly Slater “Feel Your Boobies” signed surfboard, to help women affected by breast cancer in Bali. Proceeds will be donated to Yayasan Kanker Indonesia, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. Website:www.kankerindo.org

Robert Kelly Slater known as Kelly Slater, an American professional surfer known for his competitive prowess and style. Slater has been aowned ASP World Champion a record 9 times, including 5 consecutive titles from ‘994-98. He Is the youngest (at age 20) and the oldest (at age 36) to win the title. In May 2005, in the final heat of the Billabong Tahiti Pro contest at Teahupoo, Slater became the first surfer ever to be awarded two perfect scores for a total 20 out of 20 points under the ASP two-wave scoring system. Since 1990, Slater has been sponsored primarily by surf wear industry giant Quiksilver.
