New Rate of Airport Tax (Domestic Flights)

Indonesian government announced that airport tax for domestic flights will be increased up to 33%. This new rate will be officially valid per December 1st 2010. In the press release published by PT. Angkasa Pura I, this increase is necessarily to do to improve some facilities and services in the airport for the sake of satisfaction of the passengers.

Further PT. Angkasa Pura I, as the official manager of 11 airports in Indonesia, explained that this increase is in line with Indonesian regulation. Here is the 11 airports which will apply new airport tax rate per December 1st:

1 Juanda-Surabaya 40.000
2 Ngurah Rai-Denpasar 40.000
3 Sepinggan-Balikpapan 40.000
4 Sultan Hasanuddin – Makasar 40.000
5 Sam Ratulangi – Manado 40.000
6 Adi Sutjipto _ Yogyakarta 35.000
7 Ahmad Yani – Semarang 30.000
8 Adi Sumarmo – Solo 30.000
9 Pattimura-Ambon 30.000
10 Selaparang – Mataram 25.000
11 Syamsudin Noor – Banjarmasin 25.000
