Morning is about 09.00 o’clock, Ubud is cloudy and drizzling. Traffic is not busy but two Fire Brigade Trucks park near by venue. In the meantime two “Bade”, which have 9 stories, will carry the dead body to cemetery and two “Lembu” (black-fat-bull) – used for cremating the dead body in the cemetery. Bade and Lembu are purified by “Mangku” and some women sprinkle holy water.

The old woman is carrying sarong; she sells to tourists.

About mid day the crowds pack – mostly tourist; they shot a lot of pictures. They are wearing Balinese cloth (Kamen/Sarong and Udeng) – they show respect to local tradition and mostly welcomed by the locals.

Procession takes place about 14.00 o’clock; it is starting with “Bleganjur” – this rhythm of music is very fast. People who carry “Bade” make a turn 3 times and shout – this makes crowds so excited.

After cremation, ashes of dead body bring and throw to the sea. As Hindu Bali believes “Panca Yadnya” that after dead, all return to the nature.

The name of noble persons died Tjokorde Istri Putri and Tjokorde Istri Inten from Puri Mas and Puri Anyar.
