Remarkable place, nice pictures. I love this Taman Pemuda Saraswati, as much the goddess, who has her counterpart in the Buddhist Mañjushrî, as her temple, and the highly impressive worshipper Ratu Gege of Nusa Dua (?). Thank you for this extremely beautiful site. Patrick alias Petruk, an Ubud Peliatan Lover ---

[...] The Café Lotus provides you not just delicious food and excellent beverage but also nice and pleasant surroundings. Surrounded by lotus pond and impressive Ubud palace’s family temple rise majestically in the background make Café Lotus a perfect resting place after all journey and shopping through Ubud. A gamelan plays daily in the small raised wantilan will give a relaxing effect to you and if you happen to come there when the lotus is bloom you will surely enjoy the most soothing view in Ubud and of course, at a reasonable cost.
WOW, these photos really capture the beauty of Puri Saraswati. The temple grounds, the Lotus Pond ( and cafe ), and the Saraswati Bungalows, are all authentic Balinese. These historical Royal grounds are tops in the area. We stayed at the bungalows(<a href="http://www.purisaraswati.com/">www.purisaraswati.com</a> ) for a couple of weeks. Located in Ubud, we were very island central for a lot of cultural events, or as launching point for the volcanic lakes, and/or off to the coast for snorkeling.
