Nyepi Saka New Year 1932 will fall on Anggara Pon Ukir, Tuesday, March 16, 2010. This series of rituals Nyepi Melasti ceremony begins with the water source (sea and river) by almost all villages in Bali.
Noon at Segara Klotok beach, Melasti ceremony conducted by a few villages in Klungkung. Why they do earlier ?. It is caused to avoid the high density of people if they do at the same time. Normally is three day before Nyepi.
Tumpek Landep celebration which falls on Kliwon Saniscara Landep, Saturday, March 13, 2010 is also happening very close.

I really want to see the Melasti celebration this year. Will it occur at most places on Saturday? I will be in Sanur on Saturday, do you know if I will be able to see it?
Also, does Denpasar usually have good ogoh-ogoh? I will likely be there for the day before Nyepi. Where is the procession held in Denpasar?
Any information you could provide would be most appreciated!!
