Monday, October 16th, 2006 by ablteamEvery two years, special ritual happens on fourth full moon (Purnama Kapat, October 7, 2006); One day before full moon, Pilgrims from four villages (Bebandem, Ngis, Bugbug and Jasi) go up to Gumang Hill, where the temple lies on the top. It is about 400 hundred meters high from sea level and four kilometers to the east of Candi Dasa.

Nestled on the shores of the Lombok Strait in East Bali within its own private coastline bay, the village of Seraya remains unspoiled, with Seraya Shores its first private villas. In true Balinese design. Handmade from natural carved timbers, high pitched thatched grass roofs and roomy decks, Seraya Shores is about as far away from it all as you can get on this magic ‘island of the gods’.
