Seminyak Friday Market

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 by admin

We are proud to present the new Seminyak Friday Market, taking place every Friday from 9 am to 2 pm in a convivial courtyard setting right in the heart of Semiyak (parking space will also be provided). This event is run and self-managed by a co-operative of more than twenty local, small and independent growers and businesses and was conceived as a way of promoting natural, organic and fair-trade products, for a brighter future in this so beloved island of Bali.

The Seminyak Friday Market provides the opportunity of finding healthier and tastier products within your reach; not only does their local provenience ensure their freshness whilst working with small independent businesses, but it also creates the grounds for finally making ‘natural and organic’ a concrete and affordable choice.

The Seminyak Friday Market offers a wide range of both fresh and dry foods from fruit and vegetables to honey, wine, tea, bread and pastries made from top quality ingredients with a particular attention for both the customers’ and the farmers’ personal fulfilment and satisfaction. This event also gives you the chance to experience first-hand the real difference brought by ‘Seminyak Friday Market’ in other products than edible goods; these include cosmetics, alternative medicinal remedies, spa and body care products, and even children and adult clothing made from natural dyes and cotton.
