You may not believe that with only IDR 10.500 you can travel to both Kuta and Nusa Dua from Sanur or vice versa. But that is obviously possible. Since two months ago, Bus Trans Sarbagita has been operated and utilized as a public transportation. Although there is only one route which has been operated, Batubulan-Nusa Dua, but you can still visit Kuta.

There are several bus stops along the road from Batubulan to Nusa Dua. You can start your journey from Batu Bulan Bus Terminal, or from the main road at Sanur area at 8.00 after breakfast. About 100 meters away from fast food restaurants like KFC, Dunkin’s Donuts, and McDonnald’s you will find bus stops. Wait there and not more than 5 minutes your Bus Trans Sarbagita will pick you up.

How about the ticket? Don’t worry, just make sure you get into the bus because there is a staff who will collect your money and give you the ticket. For children and students, they will pay only IDR 2.500/person one way to reach Nusa Dua or Kuta. For adult, the ticket price is IDR 3.500/person. After dealing with payment with the staff you can sit and enjoy air-conditioned bus while sightseeing. If you are still ‘blind’ with Denpasar and Kuta just tell the bus staff where you want to stop. The staff is really helpful.

So, after 30 minute or so, the Bus will enter Kuta area, passing through, Dewa Ruci Statue. The first stop in Kuta area is situated 10 meter from the junction. Mall Bali Galleria, the biggest shopping mall in Bali is located across the street. In the meantime, the bus will continue travelling to the bus stop near Kuta Central Park. After dropping and carrying passengers at second stop at Kuta, the bus will head up to Nusa Dua Area. Stop at Kuta if you want to explore this hip destination in Bali. After you are ready for Nusa Dua  wait the bus at one of the two stops at Kuta. In this case you need to pay the ticket bus to reach Nusa Dua. There is a few numbers of stops at Nusa Dua and the last stop is in BTDC Nusa Dua, only 500 meter away from the beach. Want to go back home? Get the bus at the last stop and pay another IDR 3.500 and you will get home.

With only IDR 10.500/person you can travel to Kuta and Nusa Dua. Compared with personal vehicle, this public transportation is more fun, decrease the pollution and congestion. Although spend more time than it should be but it is worth it.
